Oversized Shipping:

The above rates exclude oversize items and furniture over 6kg, delivery for oversize items will be calculated at checkout, or a shipping quote emailed before your order is completed.

Click & Collect
is available if you wish to pick up your order from our Showroom in Whangamata, free of charge. Add items to cart, fill in your customer information, then for shipping select ‘Click and collect from Showroom’. All orders must be picked up within 7 days, unless alternative arrangements have been made.

Rural | Waiheke + Chatham Islands | PO Boxes
If you are wanting to ship to a rural delivery area or Waiheke/Chatham Islands please be aware your courier will cost a little more. ($5 surcharge on top of regular shipping charges). You will need to select ‘Rural delivery inclu. Waiheke & Chatham Islands’ option at the shipping section.

Please take care to select the correct shipping option at checkout. 

We cannot deliver to PO Boxes.

Australian Shipping

Flat rate of $20 on orders.
**This excludes any bulky, heavy and oversized parcels, furniture items or
Rural/Island deliveries. In this case a shipping quote will be emailed before your order is completed. If you are unsure of shipping costs or would like a
shipping quote first, please email info@theotherhalfdesign.com with details of
your delivery location and the items you wish to purchase and we can get
back to you with your delivery cost.

The Other Half Design has no control over any customs or import duties that
could be levied when the package reaches Australia. You are solely liable for these charges.

International Shipping

If you live outside of New Zealand or Australia and wish to place an order with The Other Half Design, please email info@theotherhalfdesign.com with details of your delivery location and we can get back to you with a shipping quote. 

The Other Half Design has no control over any customs or import duties that could be levied when the package reaches your destination country. You are solely liable for these charges.

Processing Timeline

All products in stock will be processed and dispatched to you within one
working day of us receiving your order. Orders are processed and packaged
during our office hours of 9-3pm, Monday to Friday. If you have placed your
order on a weekend, we will action this on Monday. 

Our shipping provider is Go Sweet Spot, which offers a large number of
different courier companies throughout NZ. All orders that are dispatched will require a signature on arrival for security, and also for confirmation that your order has arrived to you safely. If there is a delay for any reason, we will let you know.

Delivery Timeline

Please allow; 
Auckland + Bay of Plenty | 1-2 days
Rest of the North Island and the South Island | 2-3 days 

Note: Please allow a couple extra working days when shipping to a rural or outer
Islands address. 

Australia | 3-8 working days (this does not include the time it may be required
to clear customs)

These are a guideline reference only. You will be supplied with a tracking
number so you can track your parcel. 

Oversized and Furniture Timeframes: The above delivery timeline does not apply to our oversized, heavy or furniture items. These will be determined on an order by order basis.

Pre-Orders

For those items which are made-to-order, or available pre-order only, your
order will be processed within one working day and you will be sent an email
confirmation detailing the approximate delivery date of your items. If for any
reason we are unable to meet this dispatch turnaround we will contact you as
soon as possible to let you know. Please note we cannot guarantee a specific
delivery date.

Pre-orders are usually offered on products that have either sold out quickly, or
items we only have limited numbers of, and as such, we don't offer cancellations or refunds on pre-orders.

Gift Wrapping

We offer complimentary gift wrapping in store and online - simply leave your
gift wrap request in the comments section at checkout or email info@theotherhalfdesign.com with your order details.
**Unfortunately we are unable to provide this complimentary service on
oversized items.
