CANTILEVER HOUSE

Harmonious with its surroundings, the award nominated Cantilever House seamlessly integrates natural materials, and offers sweeping views of the Coromandel coastline. The hand-poured in-situ concrete is a testament to the team; the craftsmanship evident in every meticulously exposed element throughout the space. Neutral, earthy tones are thoughtfully applied in the interiors, fostering a tranquil and serene atmosphere. Complemented by natural finishes and soft styling, the design enhances the connection between the dwelling and its native environment, delivering a seamless experience.

Positioned on a hill overlooking Tairua, our goal was to design a residence seamlessly integrated into its natural environment.

Hand poured concrete provides timeless and durable structural integrity to the home.

The custom oak kitchen features Ferm Living pendants and aged organic brass Astra Walker tapware. 

The main bathroom showcases Melange handmade ceramic Italian tiles, complemented by artisanal timber cabinetry and brass Astra Walker tapware. A bespoke hand-poured concrete basin with mindi wood cabinetry in an espresso stain finish complete the space.

Door hardware by Windsor is long-lasting and made in New Zealand.

The home features custom window furnishings and Control4 automation, providing opportunities for customisation and remote control.
